An interesting and tricky Question indeed .. I personally Feel that S.A.Chandrasekhar is not the Major Reason For Vijay's Success though he has some part in it.. One shouldn't reject him completely as he kick started Vijay's big cinema career..Since then Vijay has come a long way and is now On the Verge of Being Called the Next Big Thing in Kollywood Despite the Criticism against him for his selection of commercial oriented Scripts...

Life is being lived up by the individuals themselves and not by those who give us life/ who support us throughout our life. Each and Every Failure gives a new learning Experience And It is Because of these Vijay has come This Far..

Q:Why is That a Father/Mother Shouldn't Support his/Her Son or Daughter?

a: Wat is Wrong in it?? Is There any Law which States when a parent has given birth to a child He must ask his kid to take care of himself and completely abandon him ? Of Course Every Father supports his son /daughter The Same is the Case with Vijay..

Few people look to think on a negative way Saying If It was not Vijay's Father He would have not survived in Tamil cinema for such a long time etc etc...

The thing is Rather than being Dependent on his Father, Vijay choose to live life of his own .(In his own Terms)..It Was not his Fate which brought him to the Tamil Cinema Industry. He was destined to it..

+ He worked Hard,was Sincere, and he Gave a 101% of his contribution to what he was doing both On and Off Screen !!!

+ His biggest Strength was the fact He knew what were his Strengths and His Weakness .Wat kind of Movies Will satisfy his Fans during the different periods..

He Never Expected his Father to come and teach Him Each and Everyone of These Rather he Learnt all these from his previous Mistakes/Failures..

And Even S.A Chandrasekhar his dad even wouldn't have had such a dream that his son would be the Next So and So in Tamil Cinema..

I would like to sum it up Saying "If Vijay Was Walking in a Dangerous Jungle S.A.Chandrasekhar just gave him the map he needed..... It Was Vijay himself who learnt how to Survive and Come out Of the Jungle...!!!!"
