Ground Rules for Community Forum!

To maintain the forum in a regulated way and to ensure that all threads get equal attention and response, we are bringing in the following basic ground rules effective from today. These are very minimal courtesy sakes which are nothing compared to rules followed in many public forums. Request moderators and members to please understand and follow these and help us maintain the community clean:

1. No bad mouthing or opinions of criticism with negative shades will be allowed about Vijay or his films. No one asks you not to express what you feel but how you express it in a fan community matters a lot. Your honesty and true from opinions are welcome in many other communities in Orkut, but here we consider only sentiments of fans more important.

2. No design thread will be allowed to stay for more than one day from the time it was started. All designs will be moved to common design thread, The designers themseleves can post in this common thread if they wish. While we are happy about the design contribution from members, we need to ensure that forum page contains all types of threads.

3.Threads with inappropriate, misleading or irrelevant title have to be/will be deleted by moderators and posted again with proper titles. Thread titles as "Info on Velayudham release date" and content as "When is Velayudham relasing?" is one example of misleading title. Thread titles are very important for people to look into and reply so please ensure your thread gets noticed wth proper title.

4. Second, when there is a news that Vijay and Mr.X actor attends a function, the thread title should be "Vijay attends so-and-so function" only. It is unnecessary to use same titles as in websites because most website provide junk titles for their articles. Read the news and give a title that is apt for the news.

5. When posting news from websites, many times the article will have just one line about Vijay and rest all about other things. In such cases, post only Vijay related info in the thread and give a lnk to website for complete news. This is not a film news sharing community to share news on other actors or films.

6.From now, posting links alone in a thread is allowed only for sharing files and videos. For designs always provide direct link to the picture and not any gallery/website link. It is applicable for film websites also. For all news articles copy paste full article and give the link at the end, posting a simple link to read the news will lead to deletion of threads.

7.You are allowed to show your anger on other actors or their fans but only in threads meant for the purpose. Abusive or hateful comments in other threads will be deleted by moderators. And no friendships are needed or encouraged with other actor communities. Contact moderators/owner for further info. 

8.Vijay is first and foremost and the only important person here. While we ensure that abuses on other actors are avoided in common threads, no one can compel anyone to respect or to speak good about so and so actor in this community. Vijay is the only one who will be respected and owner and moderators can ensure only this, because we admins are fans of only Vijay. We will not change this rule unless other actor communities change their attitude towards Vijay.
